Boy Meets Girl

Arriving at his hometown bus station hoping to stop his parent's divorce, injured baseball star Sean Joyner mistakes Lena Russell's wave to her father as a signal to him and ends up getting himself punched. Quickly gathering his bags in embarrassment, Sean heads for the Rose, a bar and grill owned by his parents, Rose and Ted. Meanwhile, reunited with their father, Lena and her sister Sydney take Curtis home to prepare for her wedding before returning to the Rose where she works as a waitress. Though he tries to convince them to save their marriage, Sean discovers that his father is preparing to start dating, and suspects his mother may be involved with the bar's performance artist-in--residence, Dylan Dean. Increasingly uncertain about getting married, Lena fends off an advance by Sean, while Rose bartender Percy faces romantic troubles of his own.
