A man, a woman, a desert island - a classic pipe dream, enhanced by a setting that caresses the imagination: lush foliage, palm trees, aqua-blue water, waves cresting Just off the shore, long stretches of white sand.

But Castaway is no day at the beach. It tells us. that men and women together, no matter how beautiful their surroundings, inevitably stew in their own Juices and that a South Seas-sunset is no panacea for bad vibes.
