Programme Synopsis
Jill Hennessy (NBC’s Law & Order) stars as Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, a sexy, smart and fearless medical examiner with a checkered past. She works under the guidance of Dr. Garrett Macy (Miguel Ferrer, Traffic), the no-nonsense head of the morgue, and alongside Detective Woodrow Woody Hoyt (Jerry O’Connell, Jerry Maguire), who puts in the legwork to hunt down the perpetrators of the crimes they investigate. Yet, Jordan’s unorthodox methods constantly test her professional and personal relationships, as well as put her at odds with Woody’s partner and newest love interest, Detective Tallulah Lu Simmons (Leslie Bibb, Popular).

Episode 1 – There's No Place Like Home
Jordan & Woody are 3000 miles from Boston following the man with answers to her mothers' death. Dr. Macy struggles with Jordan’s absence while trying to solve a case of his own.
Bombs Away
The wife of a former ATF agent is found dead, the husband’s grief is overwhelming. But he takes drastic measures and puts everyone in the morgue in danger.
The Truth Is Out There
Jordan and Nigel make a trip to the local Total-Mart, and end up with a corpse. When someone tries to steal the body the case takes an unusual turn.
Payback
A high class party girl dies in custody, Woody faces possible charges. Jordan must defend him to save his career. Meanwhile, Lily tries to help a little boy.
As If by Fate
Jordan tries dating but is later called to the scene of her suitor’s apparent suicide. And a near death experience leaves Nigel asking lots of questions
One Twelve
Episode 6 - One Twelve
Jordan and her team go to the site of an explosion. Amongst the rubble is a lone survivor, Jordan must keep him talking until help can rescue him.
Scared Straight
The lover of a controversial lesbian talk show host is found dead - Jordan & Woody lead the investigation. Garret and Lily go head-to-head when a cancer patient dies.
Don't Look Back
Jordan and Woody leave for California, when the body of a Hollywood starlet is found in Boston. Meanwhile, Dr. Macy and Lily both get visits at the morgue.
Prisoner Exchange
Lily makes a sacrifice to keep a late night confession secret. Dr. Macy and D.A. Walcott are forced to work together to put a sexual predator behind bars.
Ockham's Razor
When the wife of Dr. Macy’s nemesis is found dead, he hungers for the truth. A photo lab starts calling .
Family Ties
A woman is shot in an apparent car jacking - Jordan & Elaine make the unlikely investigation team. A baby barely alive is found under his mother, but the father denies it is his.
Perfect Storm
Boston is at the centre of a blizzard, the morgue staff are at the mercy of an unknown toxin. As bodies pile up, with the lights out, the race is on stop this invisible killer.
Strangled
The morgue staff attempts to solve a case from 1964. Each member of staff adopts their own role in the case. But will they be able to find a killer from so long ago?
Wild Card
A witness for an up coming case is found murdered; Jordan is sure there is a corrupt cop involved. Meanwhile Dr. Macy and Dr. Winslow head an investigation of their own.
John Doe
When a cop is found dead, Dr. Macy tries to prove if it’s murder or suicide. When a John Doe arrives at the morgue, Bug makes it his mission to establish his identity.
Conspiracy
A mysterious death captures Jordan’s attention. In the meantime, Dr. Macy revisits his past with a current case involving a former friend.
Cruel and Unusual
A local woman dies which forces Jordan to come face-to-face with an ex-lover. Dr. Macy & District Attorney Walcott investigate if an execution was cruel and unusual.
Fire and Ice
A methamphetamine lab explodes and a young girl dies. Jordan tries to help her grieving mother, but manages to upset the D.A. Meanwhile, Lily and Bug work on a case together.
Dead Wives Club
13 years after a woman is kidnapped her body washes up in Boston, Jordan believes the killer is the husband, but the evidence does not support her theory.
Sunset Division
Woody goes home to Wisconsin but while there his mentor, the Sheriff is killed. The trail leads him to Los Angeles where he encounters a special LAPD unit.
Pandora's Trunk, Part I
Three seemingly unconnected people are found dead. Woody tries to solve the crime. Meanwhile, Jordan is back on the trail of her mother’s killer, when new evidence surfaces.
Pandora's Trunk, Part II
Jordan still has questions despite the secrets that a car has finally revealed. Dr. Macy makes a hard decision; Jordan and Woody have a case to solve.
