Dawson's Creek

Dawson and Joey are life-long friends and soul mates. This wholesome friendship, begins with years of Joey climbing through Dawson's bedroom window and grows increasingly complicated when the two mature. As their relationship swings between long time companions and love interests, their friendship is tested by Joey's relationship with Pacey, and Dawson's relationship with Jen.

Dawson Leery, first introduced as an aspiring filmmaker with a Spielberg fixation, grows in many ways over the years.

Joey, the ultimate girl-next-door, suffers a difficult childhood in which she lost her mother to cancer and faced her father's imprisonment. She is raised by her sister, a single mother, and like many of today's children, Joey was forced to grow-up far too quickly. Becoming an honorary member of Dawson's family early on leads to problems when the two become romantically involved.

Through great uncertainty, self-evaluation and self-doubt, these young adults alternately dance and trudge through their adolescence and deal with all that young adulthood has to offer, including the trials, tribulations and responsibilities of being on their own. In the end, the lessons they learn enable them to move forward, stronger and more confident than ever, and above all else, life-long friends.

Eve helps out by throwing a rave party at the Leery house. Joey who wouldn't speak to Dawson all summer realises she still has feelings for him when they meet during their first day back at Capeside High. While working at the Capeside Marina Joey tries to deal with her sexist boss Rob Logan who keeps coming onto her. Jen gets more than she bargained for when she tries out for Capeside High's cheer leading squad and faces off against the mean-spirited head cheerleader acquiring her position. Mitch gets a new job as Capeside High's varsity football coach, and a new charismatic, but very stern, principal, named Howard Green, arrives to administrate the school.
Homecoming
Dawson is recruited by Mitch and Principal Green to produce a film for the football pep rally, while the mysterious Eve continues to temp Dawson. But Pacey's and Andie's reunion doesn't go exactly as Pacey intended when Andie tells him about a fling she had and as a result, Pacey breaks up with her. Jack is asked to join the football team, the Capeside Minutemen, and comes to an understanding with his father who has returned to Capeside after moving his struggling business to live near Jack and Andie. Head cheerleader Jen also has a meeting of minds with the new Capeside quarterback; the rookie freshman Henry Parker.
None of the Above
Dawson is surprised when Eve presents him with stolen copies of the school's PSAT's and everyone is tempted to cheat, including Joey whose scholarship to Harvard is dependent on her SAT scores. But when the test goes missing, Dawson wonders who stole it and accusations run high, especially with Pacey. Jack feels that the whole football team is verbally and physically beating down on him because he is gay, while Henry Parker asks Jack for advice on talking to Jen. Rob Logan makes Joey's life even more difficult at work after she turns down an offer to go on a date with him.
Home Movies
Mitch and Dawson are at odds when Dawson moves forward with a news piece for his mother's Philadelphia station using Mitch's star player. Meanwhile, Joey and Pacey must pay the price for ditching school for the day so Pacey can work on a 'dream boat' he plans to sail around the world in. While Andie jumps to conclusions when Principal Green meets with her after school thinking that he knows about cheating on the PSAT's. Also, Jen goes to remove herself as head cheerleader due to the stress, but is shocked at the end results which involve the painfully shy Henry Parker.
Indian Summer
A late summer heat wave hits Capeside and Dawson plays detective when Eve's mysterious ways cause him to wonder why she's in Capeside. Eve is far too slick for the Dawson's poor detective work and throws them off the trail every time. Meanwhile, Joey's misgivings of Rob lead her to crash his date with Andie at the movies which leads to him firing her. Also, Jack goes against Jen's wishes and sets her up for a rendezvous with Henry.
Secrets and Lies
Capeside's Homecoming Queen draws Jen to the contest as she quickly wins and is put in charge of planning the Homecoming Queen Gala. But Joey thinks that Andie has rigged the event to make Pacey rescue her. Escape from Witch Island
Joey, Pacey and Jen are recruited by Dawson to be his guerilla crew on a documentary about Witch Island, a local spot shrouded in mystery for its reputation for being haunted by witches. While filming they are haunted by tall tales of witches and loves lost that has Dawson and Joey questioning their failed romance and Jen and Pacey considering a new kind of friendship. Andie takes her new job on Capeside's disciplinary committee a little too seriously when she tries taking back the halls of the outgoing students.
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Jen's estranged mother Helen unexpectedly arrives in Capeside on Thanksgiving morning. Dawson talks to her about her secret past involving Eve and resolves to get Jen and Helen talking again. Meanwhile, Jen continues to pursue a new friendship with Pacey. Joey, Bessie and baby Alexander join the Leerys for Thanksgiving after their turkey dinner literally falls through. Also, Jack and Andie end up attending the Thanksgiving feast at the Leery house and Pacey soon follows suit after being unable to stand Thanksgiving at his house with his crude, crass, and drunkard parents which makes both him and Andie uncomfortable with each others presence.
Four to Tango
Dawson becomes suspicious of Pacey's awkward behaviour and misconstrues his actions when he learns that Pacey has been spending time with Joey. Joey has asked Pacey to be her ballroom dance partner in exchange for tutoring him in math. Meanwhile, Pacey begins to doubt about moving forward his secret, no-strings-attached, relationship of sex with Jen. Andie urges Jack to meet a gay student from a nearby town who contacted him via the Internet after seeing Dawson's news story.
First Encounters of the Close Kind
Dawson, Joey, Jack and Andie spend the weekend at Boston University for an advanced look at college and where Dawson has entered his Witch Island documentary in a student film festival. But he finds the reception not to his liking along with recommendations from Nikki Green, an aspiring student director of her own. Elsewhere on the campus, Joey's weekend guide is not what she expected as it turns out to be a guy, named A.J. Moller, who shares her love of the same literature. Andie's pursuit for an advanced admissions interview leads her to some inspirational advice from a career secretary. Also, Jack takes a risk and explores the local gay community.
Barefoot at Capefest
Dawson experiences an identity crisis when Nikki, who happens to be Principal Green's daughter, arrives in Capeside and gives Dawson advice on his future as an aspiring young director like her. Joey has her own crisis when Dawson won't open up to her about the pain of his parents divorce. Meanwhile, during a weekend outdoor folk concert, Jack's first efforts to hit on another guy are rebuffed when the man, Ethan, only wants to be friends. Elsewhere in the camp, Jen realizes that she may have passed up the chance of something special with Henry. Also, Pacey and Andie uncomfortably find themselves planning a school play of 'Barefoot in the Park,' together with Pacey in the lead role, and Andie as the assistant director.
Weekend in the Country

Joey and Bessie also make sure they don't loose everything they have once Pacey surprises them with a visit from a prestigious travel critic. Meanwhile, Jen admits her concerns to Grams about getting close to Henry. Jack considers moving back home to his own house after hearing Andie's loving plea. Also, Dawson tries to understand the connection between his parents after their divorce.
Northern Lights
Dawson makes the radical move of dropping out of film class to spend some time re-evaluating his teenage years. Meanwhile, Joey is torn between attending Pacey's opening night and her date with A.J. Before opening night of the school play of 'Barefoot in the Park', Andie must take over as director when the faculty director, Mr. Broderick, becomes ill and tries to persuade Pacey to act out his feelings when he gets stage fright. Also, Jen agrees to go out on a date with Henry by taking him out to see the play. But she throws him another block by bringing Grams with her.
Valentine's Day Massacre

Also, Jen's first date with Henry is a Valentine's Day she won't forget when he passes out after donating four pints of blood to pay for their romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant.
Crime & Punishment
Joey is chosen to be part of a group of students to paint a school mural, but when hers is defaced before the unveiling, Dawson offers words of encouragement while Pacey takes action and risks suspension when he goes in search of the culprit. When Andie's PSAT scores rank among the best in the country, she feels tremendously guilt-ridden and gambles with everything she has worked for by telling Principal Green about the previously stolen PSAT test. Also, Pacey moves in with his brother, Doug, when their divorced sister and her kids move back into the Witter house and take over Pacey's room.
To Green, with Love
The expulsion of mural-defacer Matt Caufield, whose father is a rich and prominent member of the community, prompts an enraged reaction from a group of parents who rally around Matt's family and demand that the school superintendent overturn Principal Green's decision. The parents' frenzy over what they see as a terrible injustice leads the superintendent to demand that if Green chooses not to reverse his decision about Caufield, he will be forced to resign. Joey's friend A.J. comes down from college to convince her that she has the power to make a difference. This is a big help to Joey and her quest, but cause for consternation for Pacey, who has been fighting right alongside her the whole time. As time begins to run out, Joey and her friends as well as some of the adult players in this showdown discover new things about themselves by fighting the good fight.
Cinderalla Story
Pacey is thrown into turmoil when Joey leaves Capeside for a "Cinderella" weekend with college-boy AJ. However, when the clock strikes midnight on Joey's fairy-tale and Pacey rushes in to her rescue, they realize that their relationship has grown more complex than they had ever planned. Meanwhile, Pacey is forced to join a mentoring program, an apt punishment for his slugfest with Matt Caufield. To his dismay, he meets his match in Buzz, a hard-boiled ten-year old (played by Jonathan Lipnicki of Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little). Pacey grits his teeth and hangs on, only to learn a thing or two about life, and about his feelings for Joey.
Neverland
Pacey and Joey's impulsive kiss throws them both into moral and emotional chaos. While Joey feels that Pacey has seriously endangered their already complicated friendship, Pacey worries that he may have completely betrayed Dawson. Secretly hoping to secure Dawson's blessing on a possible Pacey-Joey union, Pacey takes him camping to remind him of their long-standing friendship. When Buzz, Pacey's bratty "little brother" (played by Jonathan Lipnicki of Jerry Maguire), crashes their woodland weekend, Pacey and Dawson are reminded of the value of their friendship and the magic of being a kid. Meanwhile, when Jack's crush, Ethan, comes to visit for the weekend, tensions between Jack and his dad finally hit critical mass. Also, with the boys otherwise occupied, Jen, Joey and Andie cook up a hilarious slumber party.
Stolen Kisses
Affairs of the heart plague everyone in Capeside during a turbulent Spring Break, when Dawson and friends visit Dawson's bohemian aunt. The tension between Dawson, Joey and Pacey threatens to boil over, and Andie develops an interest in Will, Pacey's handsome boyhood friend (Rodney Scott from the upcoming teen drama "Young Americans"). A visit from an old friend reminds Dawson's parents of their wedding day and the best parts of their broken marriage, while Jen experiences a new emotion in her romance with Henry…jealousy…much to both's surprise.
The Longest Day
Ever had a day you wish you could live all over again? In this creative riff on The Usual Suspects-meets-Groundhog Day, Pacey and Joey agonize over the impact their new relationship might have on Dawson. Through a patchwork series of scenes from one day in their lives, we find that Jen has accidentally let the cat out of the bag, unbeknownst to Pacey and Joey. When they decide to tell Dawson about their romance, it becomes clear he has known for most of the day and that their long-standing friendship has been destroyed. The resulting guilt causes the fledgling couple to reconsider their relationship. While Pacey, Joey and Dawson are melting down, things heat up between Will and Andie, who nevertheless worries that she still has feelings for Pacey.
Show Me Love
When Dawson discovers that Leery's Fresh Fish has sponsored Pacey and his "True Love" in the upcoming Capeside Regatta, he strong-arms Jack into letting him borrow his father's boat and turns the race into a classic grudge match. With the help of Mitch and Jack, Dawson, a notoriously bad sailor, joins the Regatta and lets his desire to beat Pacey overtake his sense of sportsmanship. While Dawson drags his friends into his personal mission to show up Pacey, Henry undertakes an obsessive campaign to win back Jen's affections and Will finds out that he has been accepted to Rawley, an exclusive prep school.
The Anti-Prom
It's prom season and Capeside High is awaiting the event with giddy trepidation. When Dawson asks Joey to be his date, she reluctantly agrees despite their awkward state of "affairs." Jack is forced to face a tyrannically homophobic prom coordinator who refuses to allow him to attend with Ethan. In response to this act of injustice (and in fear that Joey might boycott the prom altogether) Dawson organizes an alternative prom at Leery's Fresh Fish. The evening turns out to be a parade of misfits and malcontents, and all of the prom pressure further alienates Capeside's most notorious love-triangle. Meanwhile, Jen dangles prom-night nookie in front of Henry, and Mitch and Gale show Dawson that love does sometimes get a second chance.
True Love
In an emotionally charged season finale, the many star-crossed lovers of Capeside go to dramatic lengths to mend their romantic rifts. Gail and Mitch finally take their second walk down the aisle, attended by Dawson and a mentally exhausted Joey. Dawson, inspired by his parents re-marriage, reconsiders Joey's and his relationship. Meanwhile, Pacey, who is preparing to sail to Key West for the summer, makes a final desperate attempt to convince Joey of his love. Spurred to action by Grams' story of a past love that never even began, Jen resolves to repair the damage done to her relationship with Henry, while Jack wrestles with his conflicting feelings about Ethan.
