Programme Synopsis
This series sees new faces making an impact and more love complications in store for the staff. New Registrar Will Curtis struggles to cope under the tutelage of new Medical Director, Connie Beauchamp. Her demanding ways, both professionally and sexually, prove extremely difficult for the young registrar to deal with, and push him to the brink. Tricia Williams seems to have found love with charismatic plastic surgeon Carlos Fashola but their relationship is put to the test when she is diagnosed with breast cancer. How will Tricia cope with the rigours of her treatment and the pressure of a new relationship?

Lazarus
Connie gets an unwelcome shock when she discovers John's true identity. Meanwhile, it's Chrissie's first day back but can she forget the past and move on? And when Faye watches Joseph with a pregnant Daisha she starts to wonder if he will ever be happy without his own child.

Can Connie bring herself to end her relationship with John? Meanwhile Chrissie struggles with her decision to leave nursing and Joseph realises he has upset Faye and tries to make amends.
Labour of Love
Jac catches Michael's eye with a little more than her surgical skills but he is interrupted before he can take things further. Donna is surprised when she finds out exactly who her new theatre buddy is.
We Said Some Things
With little sign of rescue Joseph struggles to stay calm while he delivers Daisha's baby in the lift. Michael is not happy to find himself operating with his anaesthetist wife Annalese, so he switches to replacement Jamie who proves to be a danger to the patient.
Cutting the Chord
It’s the opening of the newly refurbished Keller Ward but things go from bad to worse for Ric when the electricity goes down. Meanwhile, Faye extracts the truth from Joseph about his desire to have children.
The Weaker Sex
Joseph's left reeling when Faye states she needs time apart. A drunken Joseph finds solace in the bar with Jac. Linden is reminded of his past when he comes across a female patient who was involved in a road traffic accident.
About Last Night
Linden pulls out all the stops to give a comatose Callie everything she needs to speed her recovery. Joseph wants to forget all about last night, yet the more Jac seems to agree the more he struggles to sweep it under the carpet. Meanwhile Kyla hands in her notice and Sam gets a surprise visit that turns his world upside down.

Linden begins to lose faith in Callie’s recovery and it's up to Maddy to find a way to reignite his passion. Kyla gets a surprise visit of her own and has to choose between her head and her heart, and Daisha finally makes a decision about Baby Joe.

Ric receives a photo of his grandson in the post and must juggle Director of Surgery duties with detective work in order to track Michelle down. Meanwhile Daisha meets the prospective adoptive parents of her baby, and with Maria running between Sam and Kieron, can Donna save Christmas on her own?

It's Christmas Eve and a love struck Maria is taken on a magical journey to discover her destiny with Sam... Through her very own "Christmas Carol", Maria realises she needs to let Sam and Kieron go.
Not In the Stars
Michelle turns up on Keller out of the blue - will Ric finally learn the truth about Leo and his grandson? Meanwhile in ITU, Callie stirs from her coma, but Linden realises that it may take more than this to repair her family.
No Word of Farewell
Mark is torn between a busy AAU and his terrified search for the missing Daisha and Joe - only to come under police suspicion himself. Elliot is shocked to hear that Faye and Joseph are no longer an item and tries to build bridges between them.
A Clean Slate
Having let Faye down over Archie's christening, Joseph must fight to convince her that she can rely on him. On Keller Ward, Ric is shocked to find his son's ex-junkie friend Tom as a medical student. Tom convinces Ric he is no longer a drug addict and can now be trusted.
Just
Ric starts a zero tolerance policy towards patients who won't help themselves and refuses to operate on an obese man. Linden struggles with his conscience over his longing for Faye. Joseph thinks Jac may be pregnant when he finds a pregnancy testing kit.
Breaking The News
Ric is forced into upping his game when Connie steps into the limelight by bringing a news-worthy operation to Holby. Tom struggles to keep his hedonistic ways from Ric. Meanwhile Daisha worries that she is not bonding with her baby.
Tough Love
Ric gives a rousing speech at the Memorial Service of the dead security guard, but feathers are ruffled when he puts forward his new policy of Zero Tolerance. Joseph gets increasingly paranoid about Jac's behaviour, believing she is pregnant, and confronts her once and for all.
Trust
Annalese is mistrusting of Michael when she opens one of his bank statements and catches him acting suspiciously with Donna. Connie wants Ric to give up his Director of Surgery job.
Truth and Mercy
Connie is desperate to steal Ric's thunder as he prepares to unveil his new health campaign. Obese teenager Freddie is featured heavily in the campaign until Connie talks him into having a gastric band fitted. Daisha continues to struggle life with baby Joe and her role at Holby.
Take Her Breath Away
It's the day of Jac's big announcement and Joseph fears he must come clean with Faye. The father of Ric's patient Frankie makes a formal complaint, but when the boy crashes and Ric saves his life, Connie has a difficult choice to make. Rachel comes clean and admits her true concerns for Daisha, but perhaps she should just mind her own business.
Exposures
Linden has to put his own feelings aside to help Faye over her break up with Joseph. Meanwhile a nurse Michael previously had an affair with arrives on Holbycare, and Elliot's daughter Martha returns from Las Vegas with some surprising news.

Ric's Zero Tolerance policy is tested when Jayne and Connie try to manoeuvre him into treating an overweight VIP patient. Meanwhile Annalese harbours new suspicions regarding Donna's relationship with Michael.
Coming Back To Bite You
Michael fights to save his marriage to Annalese as events spiral out of his control. Meanwhile Linden makes a discovery about Jac, which puts him in a difficult position. Chrissie thinks Daisha is taking Mark for a ride but learns the situation is more complicated than she thought.
Breathe Deeply
Ric's decision to breathalyse his staff backfires when a key member of the team tests positive. Faye is determined to win Joseph back but a serious incident prevents her telling him how she feels. Elliot discovers his first impressions of his new son-in-law Ben may not be quite accurate.
Locked Away
Darwin Operating Theatre is struck by a chemical contamination which results in Jac and Joseph being trapped in theatre; fearing for their lives they find themselves being open about their feelings. Mark is frustrated when Daisha doesn't seem to be focusing on her work or her child - does she have Post Natal Depression?
Careful for What You Wish For
Connie discovers the truth behind the death of Mr Hewitt taking the heat off Ric but leaving Annalese in a very vulnerable position. Martha tries to engineer some family bonding between Elliot and Ben, her new husband, but when Samson joins the party it all goes terribly wrong.
Too Much To Ask
Annalese is suspended and may be charged with manslaughter. Michael and Ric try to dissuade her from destroying her career and taking full blame for Hewitt's death. Ric discovers Tom's research is fake. His doubts about Tom's dedication to the job are confirmed when Tom makes a serious mistake with a patient.
