Ned and Stacey

Season one of Ned and Stacey concluded as selfish ad executive Ned (Thomas Haden Church) and journalist Stacey (Debra Messing) were on the brink of divorcing, thus breaking up the "marriage of convenience" that had been brokered by Stacey's sister Amanda (Nadia Dajani) so that Ned could keep his job and Stacey could get a new apartment. However, there seems to be a bit of subliminal lust holding the couple together at the outset of season two...

The Other End
Ned kisses Stacey then throws her out, Kirkland threatens to fire Ned. Eric takes Ned to a family gathering at Alex's parents where he wants Ned to tell Stacey his true feelings.
Dorsey Vs. Dorsey
Ned turns Stacey’s old room into a games room. Alex tells Stacey that he's tired of the war between her and Ned. Dejectedly, she returns to Ned's apartment to spend the night.
The Muffins Take Manhattan
Stacey & Ned are back together again. Amanda & Ned check out the last tenant of the muffin shop on the ground level. Ned has a run-in with one of the shop's elderly patrons.
Computer Dating
When Ned introduces Stacey to a billionaire client, he takes a liking to her. Ned arranges a date. Bob wants to use Stacey's ad over Ned's. Ned thinks his career is over.
Les is More or Less Moral-less
During the audit scrupulously honest Eric won't cover for Les’s dishonesty, so Les threatens to tell Kirkland about Ned & Stacey's arranged marriage, which Stacey told Les's wife.
Loganberry’s Run
Amanda is swamped by running the muffin shop, while Ned treats it as a hobby. She demands he be a silent partner & ignores his ideas, even his obsession with loganberry muffins.
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Eric
Ned breaks up Eric’s boring presentation by promising clients a lavish party. Ned and Eric argue. Will they resolve their differences and be reunited?
Bill's Autobiography
Bill tries to write his autobiography but gets depressed when he realizes he has done nothing with his life. Dave tries to get the rest of the office to cheer him up.
Fifteen A-Minutes
Ned wants to shoot a television commercial promoting Amuffins. Ned edits a commercial consisting of Amanda's rants and airs it on television, which makes her a hero in New York.
Negotiation
Dave promotes Matthew to the non job of coordinating producer. Lisa gets a job with MTV News, and Jimmy begins a search for a new wife.
Prom Night
A young employee at Amuffins, has a crush on Ned & they go on a date. Ned & Eric arrive with Amy. Ending up with a drunken Ned trying to bribe the judges to make Amy Prom Queen.
Saved by the Belvedere
Stacey gets the final divorce papers. Ned chooses an old TV star, Mr. Belvedere to front his commercial. But he refuses to drink the product and Stacey gets thrown off the set.
Where My Third Nepal is Sheriff
Eric and Ned go to the airport to take a holiday in Nepal. But Eric backs out of the trip. Amanda takes the weekend off to spend with her old friend Wendy.
Sex, Lies and Commercials
Ned sees an opportunity for some corporate espionage against an executive from a rival agency. The plan backfires; they argue and end up in a torrid embrace and passionate kiss.
Scenes From a Muffin Shop
At a restaurant Amanda & Eric see Diana kissing another man. Diana warns Eric not to say anything. When confronted, Diana denies it. Ned admits that Diana's actions bother him.
The Skyward's the Limit
Furious with her editor, Stacey encourages the other writers to protest. Ned tells him that Stacey will quit her job. Stacey shuts Ned up and throws him out of the office.
The Errand Girl
When Ned tries to ease some of the demanding tasks Diana has given Stacey, Diana accuses Ned of having feelings for his soon-to-be ex-wife.
No Retreat, No Surrender
Ned's agency is going on a retreat. Stacey convinces Kirkland to let her go too, so she can try and save her marriage. But Ned has designs on office manager Ms. Willoughby.
The Truth Shall Set You Back
Eric feels left out as a son-in-law. Stacey eventually gets Ned to be honest, but Saul and Ellen are shaken. This is made worse by a drunken stowaway.
I Like Your Moxie
A fire at work forces Ned and his team to work at his apartment. But it's hard for Ned and the team to get any work done, with Jeannie admiring Eric's efforts in the bedroom.
Please Don't Squeeze the Eric
Eric is delighted when Stephanie asks him to help with the annual review. But she wants to check more than his figures. Stacey has a toothache and a fear of dentists.
All That Chazz
Dimwit Chazz asks Stacey out. Ned confides to Eric that he has feelings for Stacey and tries to recreate their good times, hoping to stop her and Chaz going on another date.
Skippy's Revenge
Pat Kirkland's son Skip is second-guessing Ned's ideas and generally undermining him in the company.
Best of Luck on Future Projects
Ned is working out of the muffin shop (with little success), he's being sued by his former employer for stealing a client, and Stacey is ready to move out of the apartment.
