Paris Blues

Ram Bowen (Paul Newman) and Eddie Cook (Sydney Poitier) are two American musicians living in Paris where attitudes to race are more liberal. They meet and fall in love with two American girls on holiday in France. Should they move back to American or stay in Paris for the liberal freedoms and more tolerant racial atmosphere? The film also stars Newman’s wife Joanne Woodward and features a cameo from jazz legend Louis Armstrong as Wild Man Moore.
