The Thomas Crown Affair

Thomas Crown, (Steve McQueen), an eccentric young Boston millionaire, plans and executes bank robberies as a protest against "the system." He gathers together a gang of seven men, who never see him or one another to execute the robberies. The bank is reimbursed by the insurance company, which assigns investigator Vicky Anderson (Faye Dunaway) and detective Eddy Malone to the case. Vicky’s investigation points to Crown as the culprit, and she manoeuvers a meeting with him and deliberately lets him know she suspects him. The two become emotionally involved, and, though she is still working with the police and the insurance company, Vicky tries to make a deal with Crown.
